Adani Power Ltd said it has received a letter of intent from the government of Madhya Pradesh to develop a 1,320 mega watt power project. The company will first commission a 660 mega watt unit within a period of 42 months and will first sell 40 percent of the aggregate power to the state government for a period of 20 years and balance through long-term or medium-term arrangement.

MBL Infrastructures has bagged contracts from Reliance Infrastructures, worth Rs 1 billion. Reliance Infrastructures has awarded two contract for its 6×660 Mw Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project, Sasan, MP. The first contract is for construction of plant road works at site. The second contract is for stone, mining, quarrying, O&M of aggregate crushing plant, DG sets, weigh bridge including transportation of final products from crusher to batching plant located at site.
